Your route to departure

How it works

1

Verify

Create an account and verify your identity online with your passport. Bring your International Driving Permit (IDP) — we check it before departure.

2

Reserve

Pick your dates and options, then secure your van with a refundable security deposit. The rental fee is charged automatically 3 days before departure.

3

Drive

Pick up the keys, stamp your journal and go. Return the van as you found it — your deposit comes back after a quick inspection.

How pricing works

Security deposit

Charged when you reserve, fully refunded after the return inspection. It is your booking guarantee — not a fee.

Rental fee

Charged per 24 hours, automatically billed to your registered card 3 days before departure. No counter surprises.

Cancellation

100% refund up to 7 days before departure, 50% up to 3 days before, and no refund after that. Plans change — we keep it predictable.

Before you ask

Questions from fellow travellers

What licence do I need to drive in Japan?

An International Driving Permit (IDP) under the 1949 Geneva Convention together with your home licence, or a Japanese driving licence. We verify your IDP in person before departure.

When is my reservation confirmed?

After you pay the security deposit, we check your International Driving Permit. Once approved, your reservation is confirmed and you will receive an email.

Is the deposit really refunded?

Yes. After you return the van and a quick inspection finds no issues, the full deposit is refunded to your card. It may take a few days to appear on your statement.

Can I sleep anywhere in the van?

Use designated RV parks, campgrounds and roadside stations that allow overnight stays. From our base in Kagawa we will share our favourite quiet spots around Shikoku when you pick up.
